AI4VET: a shared passion for innovation in vocational education

On Friday, 13 February 2026, just before Valentine’s Day, the AI4VET partners came together online with a shared passion for innovation in education. The meeting provided an opportunity to review work in progress and continue developing practical resources to support the use of artificial intelligence in vocational education and training.

The meeting brought together representatives of Acceleras KG from Austria, Pučko otvoreno učilište Čakovec from Croatia, Viešoji įstaiga Kauno mokslo ir technologijų parkas from Lithuania, Sysco Polska from Poland and Asociația Institutul pentru Parteneriat Social Bucovina from Romania.

A central topic was the review of draft materials for the project’s interactive repository of AI tools for VET teachers. The repository is being developed to organise tools into categories, explain their functions and provide practical guidance for integrating them into teaching.

For educators, a structured collection can provide a useful starting point for exploring AI. Clear descriptions and practical guidance can help teachers identify relevant tools, consider their educational value and connect their use with specific learning objectives. The aim is to make the resources easier to navigate and more useful in everyday teaching practice.

The partners also continued work on finalising the dissemination and evaluation plans. These plans support two important aspects of project implementation: sharing results with relevant audiences and assessing the quality, relevance and usefulness of the resources developed.

Dissemination helps connect project outputs with teachers, trainers, education providers and other interested stakeholders. Evaluation provides a basis for reviewing progress and identifying where further improvements may be needed. Together, these activities support the development and communication of useful project results.

At the time of the meeting, preparations for the project website were also underway. The website and the project’s LinkedIn page offer channels for following the partnership’s work and keeping up with its activities.

We thank all partners for their contributions and continued cooperation. Each meeting helps move AI4VET forward through shared expertise, careful preparation and a common commitment to the future of vocational education in Europe.
