AI4VET Edu-AI Tools Navigator is now available online

We are pleased to announce that the Edu-AI Tools Navigator is now available on the AI4VET project website. Developed within the Erasmus+ project “AI4VET – Transforming Vocational Education Through AI and Future Classroom Labs”, it offers a practical starting point for exploring responsible AI use in vocational education and training.

The Navigator brings together 27 AI tools selected and described with VET practice in mind. They are organised into five categories: Static Content, Search/Research, Interactive Content, Assessment and Management.

These categories cover different educational needs, from preparing and adapting learning materials to exploring information, developing interactive resources, supporting assessment and organising educational work.

The Navigator is designed for VET educators, trainers, school leaders, project teams and training institutions. Its purpose is to help users make informed choices by connecting a tool’s capabilities with learning objectives, classroom relevance and the needs of learners.

Each entry includes a short description, key features, VET-oriented use cases, implementation guidance, and ethical and practical considerations. Together, these elements help educators understand where a tool could fit into their work and what requires attention before using it.

For example, a teacher who wants to adapt a technical worksheet could begin with the Static Content category, explore a relevant entry and consider whether the tool suits the intended learning objective. The teacher could then test it on one activity, review the output and refine the material for the group.

A staff team exploring assessment could review an entry together and discuss how any generated feedback would be checked before being shared with learners.

Educational purpose, privacy, limitations and human oversight remain central throughout this process. Educators need to evaluate the accuracy and suitability of outputs, protect personal information and decide how an activity contributes to learning.

The Navigator can support individual exploration, staff development, lesson planning, institutional discussions and project-based work. It can also provide a shared starting point for colleagues to compare experiences and agree on practical approaches to AI use.

Through this resource, AI4VET supports educators in building confidence and making thoughtful decisions about technology in everyday vocational teaching.

Which category would you explore first, and what teaching task would you like it to support?
